BioMay 2003: The band has been together now for nearly four years (gulp!) and in that time we've played two pubs and four conventions (I think that's right!)
Zander, Rachel, Valerie and Chris all sing, and play many different instruments.
The music is folk, folk-rock, ballads and such with vocal harmonies and unplugged instruments (guitars, fiddle, whistles, recorders, flute, bouzouki, banjos, bodhran etc.) and mostly in the sub-genre called "filk" (music inspired by science fiction and fandom) though we do a few cover tunes too.
This LJ is mostly set up to chronicle the adventures in recording our first CD. It will be updated irregularly during 2003 leading up to the (planned) CD launch at/before the 2004 UK Filk con.
